Welcome to the shiny new Catnip Magazine website presence! Pardon our appearance as we literally set everything up out in the open. At Catnip, we believe showing the process is part of the product – so we aren’t going to hide from view as we go through all the details of transforming into a beautiful butterfly. Transparency can reveal a little ugliness sometimes.

For those keen on technical details, we have decided to go with WordPress MU + BuddyPress 1.2.1 to act as the content management system and social network layer of our online presence for the time being. We were hoping to use something super amazing that no one has ever heard of because its so new and advanced – CrowdFusion – but we aren’t smart enough to get it to work at this point and frankly its just time to get something up for everyone to enjoy so here we are. We will be trying out all sorts of experimental, cutting edge technology as a matter of habit, so rest assured you will see CrowdFusion in the future from us in some way.
